Tank RB meta is currently too much (in my opinion) about hitting small weakpoints like gun barrels, mantlets, machinegun ports, etc. That makes it more difficult to hit weakspots on other tanks. If the option is enabled, you sight targets from gunner's sight, which is positioned somewhere on the tank turret and you need to count with a paralax effect when targeting. If the option is disabled, you sight your shots directly from the tank barrel, which makes it quite easy to hit anything you want. There is an option called "Camera from tank gunner sight" that allows you sight targets from realistically positioned gunner's sight. Make tank RB gun-play more engaging and realistic by enabling the option "Camera from tank gunner sight" for everyone in tank RB.
